In the face of ongoing economic uncertainty, our government is using every tool available to keep costs down and put more money back into the pockets of hardworking Ontario families and businesses.
For drivers, we’ve removed tolls from provincial highways, banned new road tolls across Ontario and permanently cut the gas tax.
These measures are saving households $115 each year, while daily drivers on Highway 407 East can save up to $7,200 annually.
• For transit riders, we introduced One Fare, eliminating double fares when transferring between local transit systems and GO Transit and saving daily commuters up to $1,600 every year.
• Unlike the Liberals, our government will never add a new tax or toll to any road in Ontario, and we will continue to lower costs, expand transportation options and keep Ontario moving.
