A strong health-care system starts with a strong and skilled workforce. Ontario is investing more than $10.9 million through the Skills Development Fund to help nearly 2,000 workers and jobseekers gain the skills and experience needed for rewarding, in-demand careers.

These projects will deliver specialized training, work placements, mentorship and career supports for nurses, personal support workers, medical laboratory technologists and other critical occupations.
