Order of Ontario for 2025 Announcement

The Order of Ontario is the province’s highest honour. It honours individuals whose excellence or achievement have left a lasting legacy in the province, in Canada and around the world.
Members of the Order come from diverse backgrounds and fields, playing significant roles in shaping the province and broader society.
Appointments to the Order are based on the meritorious accomplishments of nominees put forward by the public, as recommended by an independent Advisory Council.
The nominations are open until spring of each year. This year, the nomination deadline is March 31, 2026. You can nominate a resident or former long-term resident of Ontario for the 2026 Order of Ontario at ontario.ca/page/order-ontario.
