The OTIF funding will support new and expanded transit services, including $3.4 million to the Region of Waterloo to introduce or expand transit services in Woolwich, Wellesley, Wilmot and North Dumfries
This investment helps municipalities, Indigenous communities and non-profit organizations deliver transit services in underserved parts of the province, particularly in rural communities.
Earlier this year, we doubled OTIF funding to $10 million annually, eligible municipalities, Indigenous communities and non-profits can apply for OTIF funding on an ongoing basis
